This International Congress on Controlled Environment Agriculture is one of a kind and offers the opportunity to hear from expert international speakers who will focus on the six components of CEA—Managing the Environment, Managing Nutrient Solutions, Managing your Growing System, Managing Light, Managing Water and Managing Energy.
Speakers include the ‘father of plant factories’, Dr Toyoki Kozai, Professor at the University of Chiba in Japan and President of Japan Plant Factory Association; Dr Leo Marcelis from Wageningen University in Netherlands, Wei Fang from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan, Ricardo Hernandez of the University of Arizona in the USA, and Dr Vasco Duke Hernandez from the University of Panama in Panama.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and network with experts from around the horticulture world, including key manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, renowned academics, scientist, researchers and innovative successful growers.
The Congress will take place in the Republic of Panama, a country with a variety of options for tourism. Its geographical location between North and South America, dollar-based economy, stable democratic government, robust economy and business friendly atmosphere makes Panama an ideal location for this event. It has beaches, mountains, rainforest and the Panama Canal, all this together with a diverse infrastructure that mixes old town and modern buildings. Panama has air-connections to all the main cities in Latin America and direct connections to several destinations in the USA and Europe.
