AGS to host Hyderabad seminar

Australian Greenhouse Solutions (AGS) will convene a one-day information seminar on modern commercial greenhouse and hydroponic systems at the Vivanta by TAJ Hotel, Hyderabad, India, on 15 May 2014. Presented by Graeme Smith and Brian Ellis, topics will  include greenhouse systems, crop types, and growing in harsh climates, among many other topics. The seminar includes technical workshops.

With over 40 years combined experience, the presenters have extensive experience as commercial hydroponic growers in addition to many years worldwide consultancy experience. The principals formed AGS with the vision to supply up-to-date knowledge and consultancy to India and the Middle East. This came about as a result of the high number of inquiries from these regions from which they realised there is a great thirst for knowledge and understanding of modern food production systems.

The program will supply up-to-date information that is useful to all participants in moving their business and the industry forward within India. Included will be a unique insight into modern greenhouse equipment and its use, and emerging opportunities both locally and internationally. There will be plenty of information aimed at a broad audience including growers, investors, suppliers, financiers, horticulturalists and government representatives.

The technical workshops will offer tips on greenhouse plant physiology and environmental management, tips on growing in tropical climates, and tips on irrigation and climate control.

High tea and lunch is included in the registration fee of US$500. Bookings are essential by 5 May 2014.  Ω
