Powerplants Australia has announced the appointment of Merijn Kuiper to the role of Automation and Logistics Division Manager. Merijn comes to Powerplants with over 12 years’ experience in the Greenhouse Automation and Logistics field, working predominantly with WPS Horti Systems in the Netherlands where he is currently based.
Established in 1994, Powerplants Australia is a privately owned and operated company that has grown from strength to strength over the last 22 years to become Australia’s premier greenhouse technology provider. The company has worked closely with Merijn and WPS Horti Systems over the last four years to ensure customers are offered a custom-built solution for their automated system needs.
“We will be utilising Merijn’s expertise and working closely with our European and local suppliers including Javo, Flier, WPS, Denton, KW Engineering, Metazet and Formflex, to enable us to provide our customers with the very latest technology in automation,” said a company spokesperson.
