This event is an opportunity to bring together researchers, technicians,
academics and other professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, to present innovations and to discuss the state of the art and future opportunities for soilless culture.
An additional attraction for ISHS delegates will be the co‐eventing with the
national biennial conference of Protected Cropping Australia (PCA) that will
bring together for the first time ‘the knowledge makers with the knowledge
users’ (Hands‐on commercial growers keen to learn more will be mixing with
scientists and inspire each other.)
This new initiative will bring ISHS Symposia delegates together with around
450 commercial greenhouse and hydroponic growers, researchers and suppliers in the same location to share venue, day meals, trade show, social events, farm and technical visits and some speakers.
The PCA event theme (‘Future Farming’) compliments the many opportunities
Soilless Culture brings to ISHS members.
The general program will consist of 3 days of Symposia in Plenary sessions,
poster and oral sessions as well as welcome cocktails, symposia dinner and full
day farm and technical visits.
