Global food production requires 60% yield improvements by 2050 in order to sustain the additional world population of 2.3 billion people. Sustainable polymer technologies can assist Australian farming overcome water scarcity and increase crop yields to meet growing demand.
The objective of this seminar is to foster exchange and collaboration between researchers, companies in the polymer industry, water authorities, and food producers to develop technologies and products that improve water use efficiency and productivity in food production and in the food supply chain.
